The Rendon Fire
Department is located at 12330 Rendon RD in
Tarrant County, Texas. Our district covers an
unincorporated area of South Tarrant County for
Fire and EMS related Emergencies and Northern
Johnson County for Fire and EMS First
Responders.
Our staffing includes Three
paid personnel 6 AM to 6 PM Monday - Friday, Two Personnel on Saturday - Sunday.
We pay two personnel from 6 PM to 6 AM seven nights a week. Our minimal staffing
during the week is two FF / Paramedics and one FF / EMT. On weekends we staff at
least one FF / Paramedic and one FF / EMT.
Our Fire Suppression apparatus respond 24 hours
a day staffed with volunteers and paid personnel. These trucks include a 1000
gallon class A Engine, a state-of-the-art 3500 gallon tanker truck, and two
brush trucks. In addition, we also use a "Battalion" to establish "incident
command" on more involved scenes. Our EMS division has two ambulances licensed
with TDH "basic / MICU". Our first out truck is a 2007 Type I Trauma Hawk,
second out is a 2003 Frazier Type I.
We would like to thank our community for their
continued support and donations in 2007
We recognize the continued growth within our
response district and have responded to the growth by adding more paid
personnel. We are working toward cross training every member and employee to
respond to both Fire and EMS Emergencies. We are now voluntary regulated by the
Texas Commission on Fire Protection, as well as the State Fireman's and Fire
Marshalls Association.
Our
Department has recently negotiated a contract with Johnson County ESD #1 to
cover the Bent Oaks Addition. If you live within the Bent Oaks Addition we
welcome you to our response district.
